About
I am a founder, advocate, creative writer, and lifelong reader whose work is informed by the lived experiences of displacement and resilience. Over the past ten years, my creative practice and advocacy have focused on supporting refugees and vulnerable communities, with a deep commitment to mental health, dignity, identity, and cultivating inclusive spaces where individuals and communities can thrive.

Impact & Leadership
I lead initiatives that support young leaders, advocate for human rights, and amplify voices that often go unheard. Through mentorship, speaking, and community programs, I aim to create spaces where creativity, empowerment, and social change intersect.

Creative Works
My poetry, photography, and writing explore the intersections of life, faith, love, and identity. Each piece reflects my journey and invites readers to reflect on their own experiences. Here, you can explore my latest works, read my posts, and connect with the stories that matter most to me.
My photography explores the quiet dialogue between nature and urban life. From suburban landscapes and city streets to architectural details, captured in various locations, including Canada and the United States. From green spaces and city edges, my work reflects everyday moments shaped by light, structure, and movement. My work examines how light, form, and environment influence our perception of place. Each photograph invites you to slow down and notice the beauty in the everyday.
Poetry was my first language of survival. I began writing in Dari during my teenage years and later found my voice in English as I rebuilt my life in a new country. Since 2015, I have been gathering these poems into what became The Flowers of Your Pains, now available worldwide through Amazon, Indigo, and other retailers. It's also available on Goodreads for review.
This section offers a selection of my free verses and lyric poems—work that explores grief, resilience, belonging, and the quiet transformations that shape us.
Welcome to my podcast and blog section! This is a space where I share the insights I've gathered from my journals, books, blogs, and videos. Here, you'll find thoughtful reflections, engaging book reviews, and explorations of ideas that inspire and provoke thought. I hope you discover something meaningful in each post that resonates with you. Just click on the photo or title to enter and start your journey!
